Fire at Fort Worth Church Causes Significant Damage

**Fire Breaks Out at Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia in Fort Worth**

FORT WORTH, TX – Just before 4:00 AM on Sunday, October 13, the Fort Worth Fire Department received multiple calls regarding a fire at the Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia located in the 2700 Block of NW 30th Street on the city's Northside.

Upon arrival, Engine 15 found heavy flames at the rear of the church, which were spreading into a storage area behind the altar. Firefighters also encountered arcing wires from a nearby electrical pole. They executed a rapid interior attack and managed to confine the fire to the rear of the building. However, the fire had already spread into the roof area before it was brought under control.

After cutting off power to the building, firefighters made a calculated incision in the metal siding to identify a fire behind the wall next to the electrical conduit. The entire church building sustained smoke damage, and the altar area suffered significant damage. Fortunately, the church was closed at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
