Hispanic Heritage Festival Celebrates Culture and Community

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in Dallas, Texas, held its 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival. The event celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month and featured a variety of attractions for attendees. Local vendors were present, offering goods and services, while live entertainment filled the day with music and performances.

Free food was provided by In-N-Out Burger, contributing to the festive atmosphere. Attendees also participated in fun giveaways throughout the festival.

Special guests included Councilman Adam Bazaldua from District 7, who attended the event. The Master of Ceremony for the festival was Ruben Shelton. Students from Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep were also present, adding to the community involvement of the celebration.
